R.I.P. David Henderson

Some of you will have already heard the very sad news that David Henderson died on Wednesday 4th April.  He tragically suffered an unexpected brain haemorrhage and died peacefully, surrounded by his family.

For many years David has been involved in our campaign, both here and on the Private Forum.  For a number of years he also worked at the Haemophilia Society on the Benefits helpline, Inhibitors Group and Local Groups.  Many of you will have benefitted from his experience and expertise in these areas.

Last year David contributed to TaintedBlood’s book of Personal stories; ‘Stories Behind the Statistics’.  I am attaching his story below for you to read.

The funeral details have not yet been announced but will be posted here as soon  as they are released by David’s family.
